The S8 Escape™ is ResMed's latest machine that is as tiny as some bedside alarm clock. It is a quiet, compact, lightweight and reliable CPAP machine. One of the features not found on any other CPAP unit is, ResMed's new Personal Assistant built into the machine. This feature will alert you when it is time for you to call your provider or replace your mask.
Additionally, the ResScan card that comes with the S8 Escape™ can be sent into your provider for compliance data downloads and pressure setting adjustments. No longer do you need to take your machine with you for pressure adjustments! All of these features, coupled with the reliability of the ResMed name are sure to please everyone.
Resmed's HumidAire 3Hi is designed to provide heated humidification and form a seamlessly integrated unit when attached to the Resmed S8 series. The HumidAire 3Hi is designed to offer relief from the symptoms of dryness and congestion associated with CPAP therapy without compromising performance or ease of use. Up to 40% of nasal CPAP users experience nasal congestion and dryness of the nose and throat. The warm moist air that humidification provides has been proven to relieve symptoms of dryness and can make therapy more comfortable.
